Meet the Provider
After graduating from Abbeville High School in 1995, I enrolled in undergraduate studies at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2000, and then moved to Dallas, Texas. There I participated in a 3 month Critical Care Residency at Parkland Health and Hospital Systems before spending the next 3 years as a critical care nurse at Medical Center of Plano. It was there I decided to forego my original plan to specialize in nurse anesthesia and pursue what has turned out to be my true calling. I earned my Master’s Degree in Science specializing in adult health as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in 2005. That year, I moved from Texas back home to south Louisiana where I worked in a local emergency room.
